I don't know how to read this log, but I want to know what hardware component failed.

So, I probably should have told you the whole story. I was in my AMD software for my GPU and the screen just went black suddenly. I checked my GPU and the fans were not spinning. I couldn't do anything but hold down the power button to shut off the computer, and then restart. I was checking the logs and found the hardware failure, but it didn't say what piece of hardware actually failed. I assumed it was my GPU but I was wondering if the logs could tell me for sure if it was the GPU. I built the PC so the parts are all new, when the screen went black the GPU was not under load, so the watts it was pulling should have been very low. I thought maybe it was a software issue that caused a hardware failure. Nothing is overclocked except the ram which is set to XMP II in the bios 6000 MHz. The PSU is only 750 watts and I am running a 7800xt/intel i5 13600k. AMD says only 700 watts is required, but that is the estimates. But I was surprised that it wouldn't fail during gaming when it is pulling 200+ watts but it fails when I am on my desktop? I suspected the AMD adrenaline software and put in a bug report with them but got no response. I also have a lot of Asus software running for my mobo. Thank you for your responses.

I am sorry that the above methods didn't solve the issue. Since this is an open forum, maybe someone else in the community has an idea or solution regarding this issue.

Thanks for sharing the Event Viewer Logs.

Event Viewer logs indicate Event ID 41: "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first". This event indicates that some unexpected activity prevented Windows from shutting down correctly. Such a shutdown might be caused by an interruption in the power supply or by a Stop error.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/...

Since BugcheckCode and PowerButtonTimestamp values are zero as mentioned below:

    BugcheckCode 0

    BugcheckParameter1 0x0

    BugcheckParameter2 0x0

    BugcheckParameter3 0x0

    BugcheckParameter4 0x0

    SleepInProgress 0

    PowerButtonTimestamp 0

    BootAppStatus 0

    Checkpoint 0

This behavior might indicate a power supply problem. If the power to a computer is interrupted, the computer might shut down without generating a Stop error.

To help isolate the problem, do the following steps:

    Disable Fast Startup:

    https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-wind...

Disable overclocking. If the computer has overclocking enabled, disable it. Verify that the issue occurs when the system runs at the correct speed.

Check the memory. Use a memory checker to determine the memory health and configuration. Verify that all memory chips run at the same speed and that every chip is configured correctly in the system.

You can test the RAM with the free utility MemTest86, then run a full 8 pass scan to test your RAM for physical errors:

    Hi Brian,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and copy any minidump files you find to your desktop. Afterward, share these files through OneDrive or Google Drive so we can analyze them and identify the specific file that's causing the crash.
