Where is my another 55GB space?

Please see my attached picture:

All files on C drive is 128GB
Total disk size for space: 236GB

So correct my available space should be 108GB,

but in C drive it shows Free Space is 54.8GB, where is my another 53.2GB space?

Can you explain to me?

Hello, my name is Emmanuel, and I am an independent advisor. I'll be more than happy to assist you today!

I am so sorry to hear that you are having an issue with your C drive storage. Based on your screenshot, it seems like you are only checking the properties of a specific folder inside your C drive. I would suggest you open File Explorer, then click the THIS PC tab at the left side menu, then right-click the LOCAL DISK C folder, then select Properties > under the General tab. You should see both USED and FREE space on your C drive.

You may check the current usage on your C drive. Please right-click the Start menu icon, then select Settings > Systems > go to Storage and you should see a breakdown of how the storage on your drive C is being utilized. Please see the screenshot below for your guide.

I hope this information can help you.

    Hi Emmanuel,

Thanks for your response, both show the same size, but my concern is it shows I used 180GB space.

I have checked all the files size in c drive, including hidden files of windows, it's only 128GB Size.

Where is another 52GB size space, that's my question.

Based on your screenshot, it doesn't show the used data allocated for your "System and Reserved," which is missing on your end. If you take a look at the screenshot I posted yesterday, my computer is currently using 33.6 GB for system and reserved. If you compare both yours and my screenshots, you (46 GB) have installed more applications than mine (9.12 GB), so it is more likely the storage space used for your "System and Reserved" is bigger than mine, which is around 53 GB or something like that. I just don't know why the data allocated for your System and Reserved is not showing up on your computer.
