Hi Kyo,
thank you for your response.
I checked, if the schedule works, and it seems to do sometimes. I turned Night Light on yesterday and set the schedule to "sunset to sunrise". When I turned my PC on today, Night Light was still on and did not turn off automatically. I then turned it off manually to check if a fixed schedule would work. Again, it did not turn on at the specified time. After that, I turned the "sunset to sunrise" back on, and this time, it turned on automatically, at the right time. I then turned it off and tried specifying a fixed time once more, but it did not turn on automatically again. After several more attempts, I am quite certain that using a fixed schedule with manually specified times does not work at all.
I have tried to run 5 different games now, both older and new games, all in fullscreen mode. Night Light won't turn off for any of them.
The forum entry I found that suggested that it's connected to DX11 is this one:
https://en-forum.guildwars2.com/topic/102491-dx11-night-light-filter-isnt-turned-off-when-running-in-fullscreen-mode/
Unfortunately, there are no responses to the entry.
The article, which suggested a number of fixes is this one:

Most solutions in this article don't apply to me, since all the settings are already set correctly and my graphics drivers are also up-to-date. I had not tried to delete the registry keys yet, as I had assumed Night Light would be working normally otherwise. Finding now that it also has other issues, not turning on and off automatically, I tried to delete the keys as well. However, this did not help to solve the issue, either.
I cannot confirm if the issue occurs on other Windows 11 devices, since I don't have access to any other PC where I could try to run games, unfortunately.
Something I forgot to mention is that I have two monitors. I had them already when I was using my old Windows 10 system. On that system, Night Light would automatically turn off for the monitor with the game running in fullscreen, while it stayed enabled on the other monitor, which was very convenient.
Thank you again for your time.
Edit: Small update - I found that deleting the registry key broke more things, since I couldn't even enable or disable Night Light manually any more. I did back up the keys, but tried to delete them again first. I also deleted the default$windows.data.bluelightreduction.settings key, even though it was not listed in the article, and after rebooting, manually enabling and disabling worked again. The schedule now also seems to work with manually set times. What still does not work is automatically disabling Night Light for fullscreen games, though.
