How do I install Windows 11 over Ubuntu?

I just purchased a really nice sleeper PC build, but it has Ubuntu installed and not Windows. I've seen a lot of different things on how to install Windows 11 onto it, and not many of them have made sense to me. I am not wishing to keep Ubuntu on the computer. Does anyone have any advice or a good walkthrough on how to replace Ubuntu with Windows?

Thank you in advance!

Hi JoshMostaert! My name is David. I am a user of Microsoft products like you, and it is a pleasure to greet you.

To perform a clean installation of Windows 11, you can follow the instructions in the video linked here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsinsider/...

It's important to consider the following:

    1. Create an installation media using the Media Creation Tool, which you can download from here: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win...
    2. Access your PC's BIOS and set your USB drive as the primary boot device. You'll need to do this if your PC doesn't automatically boot into the Windows installation window when you start it with the installation media.
    3. If you don't want to keep Ubuntu, when selecting the installation disk, you can format it to remove the previous operating system and install only Windows.

Please let me know if the provided information has been helpful. Regards.
