Does the same error persist if you attempt to copy those files on a different USB drive and open it on another computer?

I have tried but it doesn't help.

One important thing to notice that it happened to all the files copied from that computer to USB. I can't copy, edit, open these office files on other computers except that original computer.

Thank you for following up. Let's try the following:

    1. In the "Properties" window, go to the "General" tab.
    2. Look for the "Attributes" section.
    3. If the "Read-only" box is checked, uncheck it.
    4. Click "Apply" and then "OK" to close the window.

Hello Nguyen, thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community. I am here to help and provide assistance with any questions or concerns you may have.

Certain computers are configured with security settings that block the opening of files and folders from external drives as a protective measure. Can you verify if this occurs consistently on each computer you test?

In many instances, this problem tends to be persistent on computers in universities and some corporate environments.
