How to find my product key i used to install Windows 10?

I want to install Windows 10 in a vm but i need a product key to get admin on it how to find my product key from my existing install?

    The easier way. instead to use - Product key finder apps - is to

    use the ""Command Prompt as (Admin)"" Apply the steps below

    How do I find my Windows product key from command prompt

    The Short Version1. Press the Windows key and R keys, simultaneously. 2. Type cmd in the run dialogue box. and hit the - Enter key.3 3. in the resulting cmd.exe window type this code 4. wmic path softwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey

                5. After entering the above commnad .. press - **Enter**
    
    The product key, will be displayed : Write it down and keep it
    
         in safe place : close the "CMD-Prompt screen" after

    to display the "Product key" When according

              with the other poster above

    if you still want to view and copy. Your product key

    Try it with - Power Shell as (Admin) using this command

    Run Powershell Command

    1. Open Powershell and type the command listed below powershell "(Get-WmiObject -query 'select * from SoftwareLicensingService').OA3xOriginalProductKey"
    2. Hit - Enter : your Windows Server product key will show up in the - PowerShell window
          Note : I suggest to : Copy+Paste the above, code into
      
      the blue - Powershell Command as (Admin) and press - Enter

    In most of the cases, you do not need a product key. Also, please note that activating the VM will deactivate the existing install.

    To activate the VM, see the steps below:

    1. Go to the Start menu and click on Settings.
    2. Click on Update & Security.
    3. Click on Activation.
    4. Click on the "Troubleshoot" option.
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the activation process.
