When I type *.* on the search box and press enter, it shows all the photo files and video files as I scroll down below the several subfolders. Are the subfolders to be excluded from the photo files and video files count?
Can I view all my SD card photos and videos (without navigating through each of the folders) via the Microsoft Photos App on my Windows 11 Laptop?
I can't seem to find a way to view the number of all my photos and videos because both photos and videos are located on each folder and subfolders separately.

1
Open File Explorer and navigate to your SD card
Set View to extra large icons
In the Search Box, type this *.* and press Enter
Can you then see all image and video files without needing to open the folders?

In the Photos app, it may not be the best way to view all the files, but the only way to do that may be to add the SD card to the sources list in the Photos app settings, then click 'All Photos' on the left

I was able to open most of the photos and videos; however, there still remains some subfolders containing photos and video. Is there a way to open all of them altogether?
Thanks
