Windows 10/11 Nintendo Switch Joycon Driver Error/Not Connecting

Just to discuss a common issue when pairing Nintendo Switch controllers on Bluetooth. It may work the first time, however you may find that when you return to pair again, it does not work, and the sync lights just keep flashing. If you look at the Nintendo Switch specs, you will find that its wireless connection is Bluetooth 4.1. Therefore, the only way to solve this is to get a Bluetooth 4.0 dongle, and then the issue should be solved. I hope I could help. Leave any other ways to help in the comments - let's solve this problem! Also, I would recommend using a program like betterjoy when using joycons on pc.

    Hi, Amaroo 2921

    Welcome to the MicroSoft Community.

Thank you very much for your generosity in sharing the problems you found and their solutions. I appreciate your contribution to community content building and your sharing is a valuable experience for the Microsoft community. For these types of issues that really aren't easy to get to, I tend to consider the Bluetooth adapter driver as the cause, and the Bluetooth 4.0 dongle is really a much more intuitive solution.

If you have good ideas about the Windows experience you encountered, please feel free to share them with the Microsoft community, it will help more users who are facing the same problem.
