My function keys and my escape key are not working and I have tried many different things to try and fix it. When I hit the esc and function keys they light up red but the rest of my keys do not. So I was wondering how I would go about fixing that so that the keys would work.

Hi Zach. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Is this your built-in keyboard? If so, please check for the FN key and a key indicating a keyboard lock logo, then press them simultaneously. Once done, check if you can utilize the function keys and Esc. If not, try connecting an external keyboard and check if the same issue persists.

I hope this information is helpful. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions. Thank you

I do have another keyboard and the issue does not apply to it just the one I am having the issues with.

Thanks for the feedback. Please ensure that the keyboard experiencing issues is firmly connected. Based on your description, I can see that you have already tried many troubleshooting steps. Since the other keyboard works fine, it seems like this is either a switch or hardware-related issue. I suggest checking the manual to see if there are key combinations that may enable it, such as the Windows key + Space bar.

Also, please consider other troubleshooting steps here:

Thank you for your reply. To isolate this issue, do you have another keyboard to try? If not, attempt to run your PC in a clean boot and check if the issue persists there: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...
