I have this Windows 11 computer but I want to activate it because I don't want to pay for another license. My other computer is a Windows 10 and it's already activated.

Hello, my name is Emmanuel, and I am an independent advisor. I'll be more than happy to assist you today!

Yes, if you only have a retail Windows 10 license, you can activate it on another device one at a time but you need to deactivate it first on your current computer for it to work or else you will get an activation error. However, if the Windows 10 license is an OEM that comes pre-installed on your computer, you cannot activate it on another device because it is tied to the motherboard.

To verify what kind of license you have, please go to the search bar on the taskbar, type in and search for PowerShell, click Run as Administrator, then Ok. In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell, type the command below, then press the enter key:

    Slmgr /dli

A popup window will show your current Windows license either Window (R) Operating System, OEM_DM channel, or Retail channel.

I hope this information answers your question.
