HyperX cloud 3 Drivers/not working

I got a new HyperX Cloud 3 headset for Christmas, I plugged it into my xbox series x controller and it works but When I plug the pc adapter into my pc it says "The drivers for this device are not installed" as shown in the screenshot I added from device manager. It's not found as an audio device in sound output unless plugged into the headphone jack but then I miss out on the bonuses of the HyperX NGENUITY app. I've been trying to find a fix all day yesterday. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks.

Yes, the issue could be related to the USB-C to USB-A adapter that came with your HyperX Cloud 3 headset. Some users have reported similar problems where the headset is not recognized or the drivers fail to install when using the adapter.

Here are some methods to try.

-If you're using a USB 3.0 port, try a USB 2.0 port, or vice versa. Some users have reported that changing the USB port resolved their issue.

-Inspect the USB-C to USB-A adapter for any physical damage. If it appears damaged, you may need to replace it.

-Connect the headset to a different device using the USB-C to USB-A adapter. If it works on the other device, the issue might be with your PC.

-Update your PC's USB drivers: The issue might be with the USB drivers on your PC. You can update these drivers through the Device Manager on your PC.

Hello Olivier, sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

Did you install the headset as mentioned in the following link? https://support.hyperx.com/Headsets/Cloud-III/

The HyperX NGENUITY software allows you to customize your HyperX products, but it might not work properly if it's outdated or not installed correctly. Try updating to the latest version of the software, or uninstalling and then reinstalling it.

If you reinstall it, after uninstalling it, go to the device manager too and uninstall what you see as audio detected for the headset.

Then restart Windows to let it reinstall the drivers and then install HyperX NGENUITY.

Hi, I followed what you said to do but the same thing has happened and it is undetected apart from saying no drivers. Could it be because og the usb c to usb a pc adapter that came with it? Thank you for your continued help.
