I have been looking everywhere on youtube and nothing I see seems to work. I've tried restarting it three times consecutively, and I have try full restarting, but nothing happened. I'm pretty sure it was caused by an unsupported resolution, but I cannot be sure. Last thing that happened I was opening Star Wars: The Old Republic for the first time on my computer off of Steam. I am not sure what to try, if I could get help, that would be amazing.

Hi, I’m Nicole, I’ll be happy to help you out today.

The "Input not supported" error message usually appears on the screen when the display settings of your computer are not compatible with the settings of your monitor. Here are some steps that may help you resolve the issue:

Start your computer in safe mode: Restart your computer and press F8 before Windows starts to load. Select "Safe Mode" and press Enter. This will start your computer with basic display settings.

Change the display settings: Right-click on the desktop and select "Display settings". Change the resolution to a supported setting that matches the native resolution of your monitor. If you don't know the native resolution of your monitor, check the manual or manufacturer's website.

Update your graphics driver: Go to the manufacturer's website and download the latest driver for your graphics card. Install the driver and restart your computer.

Check your monitor's settings: Press the buttons on your monitor to access the menu and check the settings. Make sure the refresh rate and resolution settings are supported by your monitor.

Try a different cable: If you are using a VGA or DVI cable, try using an HDMI cable instead. Sometimes, older cables may not support high resolutions.

Uninstall and reinstall the game: If the issue occurred after installing a game, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

    Update me how it goes.

This error showing only in graphics card connection. When I connect display directly to motherboard, it comes up okay. After getting on remove HDMI cable from motherboard and reconnect with graphics card, running okay 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

And I checked everywhere display setting set at 1920 X 1080. Then shutdown my pc after a while start it again and same problem input not supported.......

    This worked for me :
Go to settings > Display Settings > Advanced Display Settings

Under Display Information , You you find two resolutions mentioned

    1. The Desktop Mode
    2. The Active Signal Mode

It may be so that both these values are not the same. You can change this by doing the following :

    1. Click on 'display adapter properties for Display X'
    2. 'List All Modes'
    3. Click on 1024x768 , True Color, 75Hz
    4. You will see something diffrent

Play around with the option available. One of the modes should work for you.

This method worked for me. I had a AOC E2070SWNE connected to a laptop via a cheap chinese VGA to HDMI adapter.
