I just purchased a new computer, preloaded with Win11. ๐
Now, I'm attempting to organize it. I know I should be able to make app folders in Start, just like I did in Win10.
Everything I've read indicated that the version of Win11 that I have allows this option.
When I try to drag an app on top of another app, app #2 simply moves out of the way. So, is there some software switch in Win11 that needs to turned on (or off) for me to be able to do this?
Thanks for your help ahead of time.
Dan

Hello there,
I am Jaspreet Singh.
No there is no seperate option to enable the folders in start menu and they are automatically available.
Ensure you are holding the icon directly above the second icon for the folder to form and not to any one side as that causes the icon to slide.
If it still does not work try updating your system to the latest windows 11 build.
I know how to pin an app to the start menu.
I'm talking about an app folder in the start menu, where 2 or more apps are gathered in the same "block".
For example, a folder in the start menu titled "Office" might contain only the MS Office software.
Win Flag icon, select an app > Rt click > Pin to Start
