    Hi,

My name is Estrella, and I'm a Microsoft user like you. I'll be more than happy to help.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues logging in following a power dip. The error message 'the remote procedure call failed' typically arises due to communication issues between various processes on your computer.

I would suggest trying the following steps:

Start your computer and wait for the login screen.

Hold down the Shift key and click on the Power icon in the bottom right.

While holding the Shift key, click on "Restart."

Windows will boot into the Recovery Environment.

Click on Advanced Options and select Troubleshoot.

Opt for System Restore and choose the most recent restore point or before the issue.

Follow the on-screen instructions for restoration.

Additionally, you can explore other options such as Startup Repair and Reset This PC (Keep My Files).

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any more questions, feel free to reply to this message.
