Fixed after two resets. I wonder what happened.
Hi
Welcome to Microsoft community.
It's good to hear that your issue has been resolved after restarting your system.
As for what might have caused it, there could be several reasons. The sound settings for specific applications could have been changed accidentally. Or, there could have been temporary software glitches that affected the sound control of these specific apps.
It's also possible that there was an issue with the sound driver, which got resolved upon restarting. Sometimes, updates or other system changes can cause temporary issues with drivers, and a restart can often fix these.
If the issue recurs, you might want to check for updates for your sound drivers, or consider reinstalling them. If problems persist, reaching out to the support teams for the specific applications or your device manufacturer might be a good step.
Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
