Hi Nash, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

Is Google Chrome the highest consumer of your memory? You might want to check unnecessary extensions and disable them as they also contribute to memory consumption.

Another one is to clear all your temporary files in these locations.

    C:\Windows\Temp

    C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Temp

If you want to boost or reduce memory usage, you can try this tool from Microsoft to empty temporary files and reduce memory usage drastically. Since this app consumes memory as well, you may only run it occasionally and close it in the background once you're done.

It is possible that a policy is enforced to prevent access to it. In this case, I would recommend speaking to your IT admin as they are the only ones capable of checking it or at least give you access to certain folders. Perhaps, they may have a better solution to fix this since it's affecting your workflow.

You can clear temporary files manually as I mentioned earlier by going on the locations I provided and that should reduce it. Should that be ineffective and memory usage continues to increase, it would be advisable to have an IT administrator from your organization check it.
