How to make PIN as a default sign-in options

My Windows 11 has both password and PIN set up, but the login screen always ask for a password as a default sign-in option. I wanted to use the PIN instead, without manually changing the sign-in options every single time. How? Thanks.

    Hi Submit,

There is no such slider. I also couldn't search for this button in the search field of Settings.

    Hi Pylo,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

You can enable the "Use only Windows Hello for signing in" in order to remove the password prompt.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win...

    1. Click on the Start button and select Settings (gear icon).
    2. Click on Accounts.
    3. Click on Sign-in options.
    4. Turn on the slider titled "Use Windows Hello only while signing in"

Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.

I see - it shows only if you have a MS account. Do you use a Local account or MS one?
