Hi there,

My Iomega External Hard Drive model LDHD250-U is not showing up on my Windows 11 PC is there anyway I can fix this so I can use his external hard drive again?

    I see you said there is a power light, but can you hear it spin up?

    Is it identified in Disk Management?

    It may have simply failed

    or is a third party AV blocking it?

    To access BIOS, turn on the PC then repeatedly press the BIOS key(search the internet for your PC manufacturer BIOS key).

    I am using a windows 11 PC how do I access the bios to check to see if the drive is detected there?

    The drive is not listed in the Disk Management.

    I'm Paul and I'm here to help you with your concern.

    Can you check Disk Management and see if the HDD is detected from there?

    Can you also try to access the BIOS and see if the Hard Drive is being detected from there?
