Bluetooth device group BthA2dp.sys, BthHfEnum.sys, and bthmodem.sys corrupted.

Hi,

after a few BSoD's with an error message "CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED" that interrupted my work and looped me back to the BIOS menu I have finally escaped it and was left with massive computer lag. The lag stopped for a good moment and I hopped on a game. Loaded a level and during rendering my screen was frozen and stuck to a still image of a somewhat deepfried looking desktop. I waited a bit and then booted my pc again.

Finally I was able to access my pc with a couple of BSoD's.
Then I have read many articles on how to fix the corrupted files and all i found useful was the SFC scan. And so i ran a couple of scans, did a couple of reboots only to come to the same message:

"Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.

For online repairs, details are included in the CBS log file located at

windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log."

The log file said this:
2023-12-22 21:21:19, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Corrupt file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthA2dp.sys

2023-12-22 21:21:19, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Repaired file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthA2dp.sys

2023-12-22 21:21:19, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Corrupt file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthHfEnum.sys

2023-12-22 21:21:19, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Repaired file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthHfEnum.sys

2023-12-22 21:21:19, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Corrupt file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\bthmodem.sys

2023-12-22 21:21:19, Info DEPLOY [Pnp] Repaired file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\bthmodem.sys

I have done this multiple times and it was all the same response. Still experiencing blue screens. Any way to fix this without losing files or having to buy new ssd/hdd?

Edit: I have tried to open the windows snipping tool feature and my pc crashed to an error message "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT". I also have realized that me having memory issues before might be relevant to this topic.

Edit 2: After another crash I booted up my pc and a notification from my AV Malwarebytes popped up saying that I don't have my real time protection from Ransomware enabled. After enabling it disabled again. I did that a couple of times and then decided to scan the pc. The scan was unsuccessful because of a bsod.

    Dear sjacek2,

I think you're right, your problem should really be handled by someone more familiar with computers to help you complete the repair. I think you should contact a computer repair shop near you to help you fix your system? You can also provide them with the solution I have provided to you, and this repair method usually preserves the original functions on your computer.

Of course, if you are worried about this, you can also ask them to back up your data first before proceeding with the repair.

Usually, they will use some tools that can read data even if your computer cannot boot up.

    Anyway, Merry Christmas to you.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your Windows 11 device.

Based on the information you provided, it seems that the Bluetooth device group drivers (BthA2dp.sys, BthHfEnum.sys, and bthmodem.sys) are corrupted and causing the blue screens.

For system scanning, you can also add the following commands:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Finally, do sfc /scannow one more time

To update the drivers, you can go to the Device Manager, locate the Bluetooth device group, right-click on it, and select "Update driver." If there is an available update, Windows will automatically download and install it.

If updating the drivers does not work, you can try uninstalling the Bluetooth device group drivers and then reinstalling them. To do this, go to the Device Manager, locate the Bluetooth device group, right-click on it, and select "Uninstall device." Then, restart your computer and Windows will automatically reinstall the drivers.

However, from what you described, you may be facing both system and hardware problems, so you can refer to the following links to repair and install your system to rule out the possibility of problems with the system itself

How to: Perform a Repair Upgrade Using the Windows 11 or Windows 10 ISO file

Disclaimer: Please back up all your important data before performing it.

If the repair installation still does not solve your problem, please contact your hardware manufacturer as soon as possible to check so that the hardware fault can be troubleshooting.

If my understanding is wrong, please point it out, so that I can assist you better.

Thanks for trying to help Lugoo.

Nothing did work and at this point I think I'll need a computer technician to fix my pc. I have been locked out and unable to login due to multiple device shutdowns and I can't do really anything against that because of the options my computer's health offers. Most of the features that helped me fix my pc are gone.

Thank you for your response. As you can see, I believe there is a serious problem with your system, so we need to temporarily set aside other issues and prioritize fixing your system.

If your current computer cannot download the ISO, you can use another working computer to download the ISO. After downloading, run it on your current computer to see if the installation can be completed.

    Thank you for replying, Lugoo.

Nothing fixed my pc and I couldn't even start a download of the ISO file for a 64 bit CPU. I'm clicking the download button and my device is just refusing to download anything.

The DISM feature did not work, so did the sfc. In short - the DISM didn't know what to look for. When I tried to open the link for a tutorial on how to help it locate I crashed and lost the cmd message and the direct log file directory. I have found the log file when i searched through my disk C and all it displayed was logs that happened two days ago. This is really weird and confusing now.

Is there any way to fix this without a need to contact my hardware manufacturer? If there is a need for you to access my pc through anydesk or something similar I am giving you full permission to do it.
