My Bluetooth earpods disconnect when my laptop goes to sleep - my laptop starts blasting music when this happens. is there any way to keep bluetooth on when this happens or at least turn the volume to 0 when it does?

Hello! I'm Jen, and I'd be happy to help you out with this issue.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. Please try these steps and check if it helps resolve the issue. Press Windows logo key + X, and select Device Manager. Click the arrow next to Bluetooth to expand it, then right-click on the Bluetooth Radio > select Properties. Go to Power Management tab and make sure to uncheck the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." then click OK to save the changes. Let me know if this works. Thank you.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.

    Best Regards!
    Jen :)

    Hi,

I don't see any power management tab when I do this. The only tabs I can see is General, Driver, Details and Events? By Bluetooth Radio, I'm assuming you mean the earpods.

    Thanks

    Hi Anish,

You would have to check the Bluetooth adapters/devices in the list one by one to determine which one is active and you're using. Look for the one with Power management tab.
