Hello,

How much virtual memory should I get for 16GB of RAM in Windows 11?

My system:

Windows 11

SSD WD 850 Black - 1tb

G.Skill Neo - 16Gb RAM

Processor AMD 3700X - 8 cores :16 threads

HDD Seagate 3tb

Video card- Nitro+ AMD RADEON RX6700XT

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Performance and system failures

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    It is best not to manually set the amount of Virtual memory in Windows 11, let Windows manage that, and it will be a variable amount dynamically set depending on what you are doing on your PC, rather than setting a set amount manually.

    If you do need to manually set that, then set minimum to 2GB and max to 16GB

    That will be the most efficient setting for your system, you should not experience any problems with that setting.
