I made VHD files and for some reason instead of it having the image of a hard drive default image it shows an image of note pads
Is there any way I can remove it to its default instead of open with?

To change the default app for opening VHD files, right-click the VHD file > Properties > Change... > and select Windows Explorer (default app for VHD files)
