Windows xp installing problems

Hi, I am trying to install windows xp on an old computer but each time I try it gives me the error code 0x0000007e. Is there a way that I can resolve this issue?

    We have no idea:

    1. If the machine you are trying to install XP on is compatible for XP.
    2. Where you got the XP disk from.
    3. What type of license that XP is.
