Yes, this is exactly the issue. We need to be able to set the Colors properties to Black and White, this should not have been removed. There are very specific cases in the work that I do where I need to have this option. Please bring this back.
MS paint black and white
I can't use image properties to convert a picture to black and white. I already tried uninstalling and re-installing this app? What's going on, and how can it be fixed?

2023-12-21T19:57:48+00:00 I have had the same problem for a few months, I assume it is a result of the update. Is there any way to get the older ms paint? I do not like the new version, if I wanted layers I'd use Photoshop or any other drawing app that had layers, the appeal of ms paint to me was its simplicity and straightforwardness, you worked within its limits and you still could do some great work.
It's disappointing that these new updates just roll out with no consideration for the users who have been using this app for years without asking for these changes, there should have at least been an option to keep the old ms paint.

2024-07-10T13:36:31+00:00 Hi,
I just had the same issue. I copy and pasted my photo into Word, then used the Picture Format, Colour Saturation option to change the photo to grayscale.
Hope this helps others in future!
