whenever i start to load up a game like genshin impact, it launched it the first time and worked perfectly fine. Now suddenly it wont work and when i try to load into the game it works perfectly, up until actually loading into it. i can hear from the music cues and noises that my character and such is loaded in, but after the loading screen is done, the screen will go white or the loading screen design will lose its color indicating its done and soon after the game will crash and bring me back to the launch screen.

Same thing with honkai stair rail, except i got stuck on the loading screen with no way out and had to force close it.

is this a game company problem? or is there something i can do to fix it because my first game played worked perfectly fine and it has suddenly stopped working for me out of the blue. this is a new laptop too and ive updated it to make sure im on the most recent version and such

i tried restarting my computer and genshin didnt crash this time, only im still stuck on the white loading screen. Why is it doing this?

    Hello, pancakes4life

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Hello, I am sorry that you have a stuck screen when you open the above two games, you can try the following ways to solve your problem:

    1. Update your computer's graphics card driver, motherboard driver, etc. to the latest version, you can visit the official website to download and install.
    2. Turn off kernel isolation

Open the start menu, search for Windows Security Centre and click on Device Security.

Find Kernel Isolation and turn it off.

ps: Some devices may not be able to find the Kernel Isolation option in the UI of Windows Security Centre.

    1. Press Windows + R to open the Run command box and type regedit, then press Enter to open the Registry Editor.
    2. Click Yes in the UAC prompt that pops up.
    3. In the Registry Editor find

    \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceGuard\Scenarios

    1. Create a new DWORD and rename it HypervisorEnforcedCodeIntegrity, then change its hexadecimal value to

1 to enable kernel isolation, 0 to disable it.

    1. Clean boot

You can perform a clean boot to exclude the influence of third-party software, you can refer to the following link to perform a clean boot:

How to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support

Disclaimer: A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It helps to determine whether a background service is interfering with your game or program and to isolate the cause of a problem.    These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get back on track.

Thank you for your time and effort working on this issue.

    Best wishes
