Killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet Controller wakes my PC from sleep mode

For some reason my PC automatically wakes up from sleep mode on its own.
I typed the command powercfg -lastwake into command prompt, and it told me *Killer E2400 Gigabit Ethernet Controller was causing my PC to wake up.*I disabled the driver as a fix, but it makes me unable to use ethernet when I do so.
How do I fix this problem while still being able to use ethernet?

Is there any solution that doesn't require accessing the BIOS then?

EDIT: I seem to have found it. Clicking on the properties of the driver in Device Manager, there's a tab called "Power Management". In it theres an option called "Allow this device to wake the computer" which I then turned off.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

This is caused by the Wake on LAN settings on that Ethernet connection.

    1

Right click your Start Button and open Device Manager

Expand the Network Adapters section, then right click your Ethernet device and select Properties

Select the 'Advanced' tab in the Properties dialog

Select the 'Wake on Magic Packet' option in the Property list on the left.

Set that to disabled and save that setting.

    2

If that does not solve this, there may also be a Wale on LAN (WOL) setting in your BIOS that may need to be disabled.

Boot into your BIOS and look for either a 'Power On By PCI-E' or 'WOL' setting.

Usually to boot into BIOS, when you start your PC, repeatedly press the F2 key on your keyboard to enter BIOS

Do not change any other settings in there unless you find the 'Power On By PCI-E' or 'WOL' setting.
