Why does my controller disconnect from my PC after 2 seconds of being connected

My controller keeps disconnecting from windows after being connected for 2 seconds.

This keeps happening I don't know what why or how its happening.

My controllers batteries have been changed, I have uninstalled the device multiple times.

I have restarted my PC multiple times.

I have reset the controller.

JUST TO MAKE SURE THIS IS CONNECTING TO MY PC NOT XBOX

WHY does this keep happening?

WHY is there no remediation for it? (I have provided feedback for this via the feedback hub but NOTHING has been done)

    Hello,

    I have the same problem. It works just fine with a cable and wireless with my ps4 but when I try wireless on my pc it keeps disconnecting after a few seconds.

    I have the same issue i downloaded the DS3 software and it worked first time but now it connects and disconnects.

    Hello , sorry about your problems. My name is Marco and I will do my best to help you.

    Have you tried in another USB port, if it's a usb 3.0 (blue) put it in a normal port, otherwise do the opposite.

    Check if it is not a malicious file that you have in the computer. Download the two free versions of the software below and do a scan.

    Malwarebytes to clean pc: https://malwarebytes.com/

    Test the controller on another device: If the controller still keeps disconnecting, try connecting it to another device (e.g., a different PC or an Xbox console) to see if the issue persists.
