Hi
Welcome to Microsoft community.
I understand your concern about eye strain while reading on-screen text. As far as I know, Windows 11 does not have a built-in feature exactly like the 'reading mode' you described. However, there are several features that might help reduce eye strain:
- Night Light: Windows 11 includes a feature called Night Light that reduces the amount of blue light emitted by your screen. You can access this feature by going to Settings > System > Display > Night light settings.
- Magnifier: The built-in Magnifier tool might also be helpful. It can create a floating window that follows your mouse cursor, magnifying the area around the cursor. You can access Magnifier by pressing the Windows key and "+" at the same time.
- E-Reader Apps: If you're reading PDFs or eBooks, consider using an e-reader app like Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Calibre. These apps often have features like text reflow, background color adjustment, and text-to-speech that can make reading easier.
Remember to give your eyes regular breaks and consider consulting an eye care professional if you continue to experience discomfort.
Please keep me updated on your progress, and don't hesitate to ask if you have further questions or need more assistance.
Best regards
