Phone link app has no audio

My phone link app was working previously so i don't know why it stopped.

I can still make a call but can't hear the call. Not sure if mic is affected also.

I have the latest version of Phone link.

Audio and speakers are working for Teams, so no issue with the device.

Microphone access is "on" in the Privacy settings.

Volume on both the headset and speaker device and the android phone is set to max.

Allow desktop apps to access your microphone is "on".

Phone link does not show in either list on the privacy page.

Restarting phone link and the blue tooth connection on my phone makes no difference.

The new icon in "settings" title "phone link" is "on"

Under Bluetooth and other devices, the android phone is present.

Worked before. But app tends to be unstable.

    Thanks everyone.

    I just went around and removed devices and uninstalled stuff and re-installed stuff.

    In the end it started to work but I have no idea which of my actions fixed it.

    To give you some idea of my setup.

    I work from home and have a usb headset which is used for Teams communication with work.

    My home PC does not have Bluetooth, so I bought a usb Bluetooth device that is specifically configured to allow for two-way audio communication.

    At home I place my android mobile about a foot away from the usb device. The phone connects automatically via the Bluetooth device to the phone link app. Mostly the phone will connect, and I am able to receive and make calls and text messages via the Phone Link app.

    In fact, I have just set down and placed my mobile on my desk and it immediately connected to the Phone link app. It's when it doesn't for no particular reason that I run around checking settings, drop and re-install devices until I get it working again. So currently it is working. But thanks to all those who replied to my question. I will consider this question as answered.

    Your instructions around the command "reset the app" are very unclear.

    Under Settings/Bluetooth and other devices/ it shows my mobile phone as connected.

    The only option here is remove device.
    If you can be more specific, I can do what you ask.

    But if you want me to go into settings you need, make that clear in your response. Not just say "reset the app"

    I've never come across the "reset " option.

    It's no under Settings\app and features \phone link

    it's not under settings\ phone icon .

    and it not under settings/Devices

    it's not under properties when you click the Phone link on the task bar.

    I'm Sumit. I'm here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

    It might require a Reset of that app to get it fixed.

    Also, In Settings > Bluetooth Devices > Is your Phone connected?

    Please update us on your progress.

    Yes, under settings Bluetooth other devices the phone shows that it is connected.

    By reset the app what do you mean?

    I thought of uninstalling and re-installing it but the uninstall option is disabled.
