While updating, it says, install error 0x800703f9.

I have went through similar posts but nothing changed. It's only coming with 2 updates, "2023-11 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5032007)" and "2023-11 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 version 22H2 for x64-based systems (KB5032190)".

Your schema registry hive is entirely blank and thus unloadable. And there are no restore points in the system.

Please download schema.zip and extract SCHEMA.DAT to the desktop.

    Open the following folder:

    C:\Windows\System32\SMI\Store\Machine\

In that folder, rename SCHEMA.DAT to SCHEMA.DAT.OLD

Copy the new SCHEMA.DAT from your desktop to the above folder.

    Reboot Windows.

Please upload your CBS logs to OneDrive and share the link here.

    • c:\windows\logs\cbs\                   <= Zip and upload all files in this folder.

It appears that there are currepted files on my laptop, while doing the command 'sfc /scannow' because of the currepted files, scan health command and restore health command failed with 14.2% and 9.3% respectively. If I have to remove the currepted files, how can I? If not what should I do?

Greetings, Priyanshu! My name is Arif, and I will assist you today.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing this issue. Here are some steps that you can try to resolve it:

    • Try running the Windows Update Troubleshooter. To do this, navigate to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters. In the pop-up window, click Windows Update and select Run the troubleshooter.
    • Try running SFC and DISM. To do this, run Command Prompt as administrator. In the prompted window, type sfc /scannow and press Enter. Once done, reboot your computer. If the issue still exists, run Command Prompt as administrator again. Then type the following commands and press Enter after each:

    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
