Failed to load resource DLL when I open or copy paste files on File Explorer

I currently have Windows 11. Whenever I open up File Explorer, or whenever I copy and paste a file within File Explorer, I would always get a pop up window "Failed to load resource DLL." However, when I close it, the process would go as if that pop up window didn't appear. In other words, the pop up window would just delay the task until I close it. Is there a way to fix this error?

Hi Andrew,

A third-party shell extension causes this error. Please visit this article and try the steps listed under "Using ShellExView to resolve ...".

Disable all 3rd party shell extensions and test.

Ok, the log off and back on was what I was missing. I have narrowed it to the same extension as Andrew 752 (RtClkCtxMenu Class). Thank you so much Ramesh!

After disabling all non-Microsoft extensions, log off and log back in to your account.

Hi, I did that but I'm not sure if I need to restart or something between disable and expecting the fix. Should disabling them all at once fix the issue immediately or after a restart? Thanks.

    Hi William,

Have you tried disabling all 3rd party extensions (not just 3rd party context menu handlers) using ShellExView?
