reverting from Win11 Pro to Home edition.

I recently bought a window 11 pro code to upgrade my edition of windows, but I didn't know it was an installation key that you have to use when doing a clean install of windows. It wasn't a direct upgrade code. So I need to revert back to my windows 11 home license, but I can't because it doesn't give me the option to do so. After running the activation troubleshooter it says to install home version of windows, but there is no button to revert back to my windows 11 home. I don't want to reset my pc, because all my app data and files will be lost. How can I revert my edition of windows/activate windows 11 pro? Also I don't have the product key anymore and i removed i from my PC. PC was originally WIn11 home edition. please help.

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

There is no working method to downgrade from the Pro edition of Windows to the Home edition, even a Windows reset will not work, the only way to do that will be to backup your personal files, then create a bootable Windows USB and use that to clean install Windows.
