Is there any way to prevent the UWP process group from suspending Armory Crate while I am using it without having to completely reinstall windows?

The UWP process group keeps suspending Armory Crate while I am trying to use it, which means I can't really change any of the settings controlled by Armory Crate such as how well my GPU works, and when I am trying to play some games they have very low FPS because the graphics card is not doing the best it can, and I know it can do better because it has done better in the past before the UWP process group began suspending Armory Crate. I am not completely sure how long the UWP process group has been suspending Armory Crate for, definitely a while but I have been trying to get along without it, but this specific game I very much want to play has very low FPS because the graphics card is not perform the best it can due to some settings in Armory Crate which I am unable to change due to the UWP process group suspending it before I can do so. I have tried looking up how to stop it, and tried everything that I have found without it helping at all. The only thing I haven't tried that has been suggested is to completely reinstall windows, which I am tentative about doing in case it resets any settings or data I have saved.

(Also, I was not completely sure which topic this would come under in the options below, so i chose system failure as I am quite sure the UWP process group is not supposed to be suspending Armory Crate while I am trying to use it, another also i tried uploading a screenshot of Armory Crate being suspended in Task Manager, and I am not completely sure if it worked, because while trying to upload it said somewhere that it failed something, but it still let me upload the image, so sorry if the image doesn't come through)

    Hello Mani Mygacion,

Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate your understanding and cooperation on this issue, and I'm glad to learn that your Armory Crate is no longer suspended.

Regarding your confusion about drivers, the graphics card driver I mentioned is a driver that is used to control the graphics card in your computer. The graphics card driver is responsible for translating the commands and messages sent by the operating system and applications into the commands and signals required by the graphics card so that the card can properly display things like images, video, and graphics.

In your reply regarding the "UWP Process Group Hanging Symbol next to the Armory Crate when the Armory Crate closes on its own during Task Manager", please check that the application settings are always set to "Always".

In addition, I noticed your concern about the new GPU option has disappeared, and you are acting a bit strange about every new installation of Armory Crate, I understand your doubts and feelings, it may be that Armory Crate has new adjustments for this setting, if you can use it normally, you can ignore these changes for the time being, if it affects your normal operation or if you have some doubts, you can contact Armory Crate's official support team for consulting. If it affects your normal operation or you have some doubts, you can contact Armory Crate's official support team for advice.

If the problem recurs, you can also try a clean boot which starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. It can be used to determine whether a background service or program is interfering or causing a problem.

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by-step.

We hope you find the above responses informative, and please mark this program as "Yes" to help improve the user support experience!

    Best Regards ,

    Thank you for your feedback!

    3.Repair/Reset Armory Crate

"Win" logo key + "Q" to open the search box and type "Armory Crate", right-click "Armory Crate" at the top of the result list > "App settings" > "Repair"/" Reset".

    1. Check for Armory Crate Updates

Check for Armory Crate updates on the Armory Crate website.

    Hello Mani Mygacion,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community!

I understand that you are experiencing an issue with UWP process groups suspending Armory Crate when using Armory Crate. We understand your frustration and feelings about this issue.

To resolve the UWP Process Group Pause Armory Crate issue, you can try disabling the Focus Assist feature in Windows 10.The Focus Assist feature in Windows 10 is an assistive feature that helps users to focus and be productive. The purpose of this feature is to suppress notifications and other distractions while you're using your computer, but it also interferes with certain apps.

Steps to disable the "Focus Assist" feature:

    • Type "Settings" in the Windows search box---open it
    • Click "System"---select "Focus Assist".
    • Under "Focus Assist", select "Off" to disable the feature.

If disabling the "Focus Assist" feature does not solve the problem, you may need to try additional troubleshooting steps or contact the manufacturer of the Armory Crate for further assistance.

Hope this helps, please feel free to reply me if anything is unclear or if there are any further updates, thanks.
