Basically, it all started while I was gaming on my laptop. It was a laptop for school/work, and I knew I shouldn't be gaming on it, but since we had some free time, I decided to have some fun. It was the last day of school, and it was also extremely hot, with temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. It said the power was low and I should charge it, but I kept going until the battery died because it was the last period. I got home, plugged in the laptop, and tried to turn it on. The laptop did not turn on, nor did the fans. It was all over. The power button light only lasted 10 seconds, Then it blinked and then the light lasted another 10 seconds till it turned off.

Laptop details? I have no clue, I got it just last year and it was a birthday present. All I know is that its a; Pavilion 15-eg

    Hi,

Kayece here, An Independent advisor and a user just like you. I will be happy to assist you today.

Based on your description, there is a possibility your laptop battery is short or needs a certain amount of battery life to turn on and prevent the laptop from turning on.

Have you tried to leave the laptop charged for at least 30 minutes to an hour and turn it on again?

If it is still the same, please try using a different charger/transformer, and charge it again for at least 30 mins.

If does not work, then you likely have a failed system board. I suggest bringing your laptop to a repair center to check your laptop.

If you need more assistance, let me know.

    Stay Safe!
