    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    The Microsoft keyboard and mouse sets are paired specifically to one USB transceiver, it is not possible to get a replacement USB for that set, another USB will not work with your set.

    You could try a local PC Repair Shop too see if they can get the USB dongle working.

    If that mouse and keyboard set is still in warranty, you could try contacting Microsoft Store Support using one of the options on this link:
