Is there any way to solve the youtube grey bars that appear on top and bottom of the video, and letting the screenshots without a blurry image and lighted colors?

So it's seems to be a problem with HDR displays and google chrome, (my monitor is a LG 27GP850-B) where if you take a screenshot, it turns the screenshot very bright. You can solve the problem partially by turning chrome://flags/#force-color-profile into sRGB or HDR10, but when you do so, it also makes the youtube videos get a grey bar on top and bottom. So you kinda have to choose between those two. Someone knows a way to solve it both?

    Hi

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

It indeed sounds like a color profile issue. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

    1. Check Monitor Settings: Make sure your monitor is set to HDR mode. You can usually find this in the display settings of your monitor. If it's not set to HDR, it might be causing the issue.
    2. Update Graphics Drivers: Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can sometimes cause issues with display and color profiles.
    3. Try a Different Browser: Although you mentioned the issue with Google Chrome, you might want to try using a different browser to see if the issue persists. Firefox and Microsoft Edge are good alternatives.
    4. Disable Hardware Acceleration in Chrome: Go to Chrome Settings > Advanced > System, and toggle off the 'Use hardware acceleration when available' setting. This might help with the color profile issue.
    5. Try a Different Color Profile: If changing to sRGB or HDR10 isn't working as expected, you might want to try a different color profile. You can experiment with different profiles in the Chrome flags page you mentioned.
    6. Use a Screen Capture Tool: Instead of using the built-in screenshot function, try using a third-party screen capture tool. Some of these tools offer more advanced features and might handle the color profile better.

If none of these steps work, it might be a deeper issue with how Chrome handles HDR content.

    Best regards
