How do i fix the "Unsupported 16-bit application" message that minecraft gives me when i try to launch it?

I was having some issues with my laptop but I fixed it by resetting my computer but I kept my files. But when I re-downloaded Minecraft, I get the message,

"The program or feature "??\C:\ProgramFiles\WindowsApps\Microsoft.4927127D64EC6_1.2.16.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\Minecraft.exe" cannot start or run due to incompatibity with 64-bit version of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windows compatible version is available."

I tried to download Minecraft from their website and from the Microsoft store and I get the same answer. I have done all updates that my laptop needed to do but still nothing. I thought it was just a permissions thing so I changed all permissions on my drive to my acct and I still get the same result. I had Minecraft before the issues started and a bunch of other apps with no issues until now. I have Java installed too. so it's not that. I don't know what else to do at this point. Pls help.

Also I didnt spell "Incompatibility" wrong. Thats how it was spelled in the message I got lol.

    Hi, Jonathon,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

As this problem started after you performed the factory reset of Windows, this procedure may have not been finished correctly and may have corrupted some Windows files. You can perform the repair upgrade using the Media Creation Tool, this procedure will repair all Windows files, apps, services, and registry keys.

    1-Download the media creation tool.

    https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209

2-Run the tool and select 'Upgrade this pc now'

3-Select the option 'Keep all my files and apps'

    4-Then click to update.

5-When finished, check if the problem was fixed

Did Minecraft back to work after the blue screen reboot?

If not, the problem might be deeper in the Windows installation and the clean installation of Windows may be the only fix.

Also, I have the FTB App and the Curseforge app for modded Minecraft and it works just fine. I can play as many mod packs as I want with no issues. It's just vanilla Minecraft. And all of the other apps that I had before work. It's Just MC. I have looked on their support website and I can't find anything. I have also googled and looked up my issue and I have found others who have the same problem just with different apps. I also can't uninstall it and reinstall it because I can't install it in the first place. On the Microsoft store, It says that the Minecraft launcher is installed but when I go to the control panel it doesn't show up. I also deleted all files pertaining to Minecraft and tried again and still, no luck.

EDIT: I was just watching youtube on my laptop and it just bluescreened. It restarted and its working now.
