Why is my Windows 11 pro Key not working?

I currently have Windows 11 Home activated on my device, a Windows 11 Pro Key ready to be activated and it's just not working.

I tried Putting the product key in, errors came up every time.

Then I imaged my device with the disk that came with it (I had a new disk reader handy, lol didn't think I would ever use it). After imaging it again similar errors keep showing up, the current one is 0xc004f050
What I look into and it just says its wrong lol.

Anyway, is anyone able to help me with this problem?

Hi, I am Van. I'll be glad to assist you today.

Commonly, if you have a valid Windows 11 Pro license key, you can directly upgrade a Windows 11 Home system to the Pro edition. Alternatively, you can try the method below.

    1. Disconnect the internet connection on your PC.
    2. Press Windows key + I, then go to System > Activation.
    3. In the right pane, click the "Change product key" button, then use the generic key below to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.

Once you have upgraded to Windows 11 Pro, connect your internet to the PC, and then use your valid Windows 11 Pro product key to activate the system.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance. I will be glad to assist.

    Thanks man.

was looking around and I found this Post: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-insider-program/windows-11-version-upgrade-home-to-pro/m-p/2669719

It had the source for all windows 10 and 11 Generic keys, I didn't realise you needed to have a generic key to upgrade/downgrade versions. Well good to know now.
