Update; problem solved after uninstalling MyDell. Thanks for the help!
Windows 11 keeps changing powermode to 'Best energy efficiency'
I have a new DELL laptop with Windows 11 and it's driving me crazy. I use heavy software and I notice a big difference when I switch the powermode to 'High performance'. However, I have switched like 20 times and it keeps changing back to energy saving, making things terribly slow.
I am not able to upload an image in this editor, but here's a link to the setting which I am referring to: https://ibb.co/tqXXc4R
So I am not referring to energy plans with al the advanced settings. Because no matter what I do there, the setting on the left (red cirkle) keeps changing.
I also contact DELL support and they were not able to provide a solution.
Note that I want high performance at all times no matter if I'm operating on battery or cable.
Hope someone has a solution!

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.
Do you have Dell Power manager installed? If so, try uninstalling it and see if the issue persists.
Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
