I recently bought an Asus Proart monitor which has speakers built in. I bought this monitor because it had speakers. When connect my new PC to the monitor with an HDMI cable I get video but the audio volume is very low. It is almost diifficult to hear. I have set the volume to 100%. The ear phone sound is fine, What am I doing wrong.

    Dear Tariq Siddiqui1

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

1.Firstly it is recommended that you check the manual section of your monitor to see if there are on-screen buttons to raise or lower the volume.

    1. Right click on the sound icon at the bottom right corner of the screen - Sound Settings - More Sound Settings at the bottom - Playback - Find the model of your monitor - Double click on the left mouse button - Enhancements - Disable all enhancements - Spatial Sound - Turn off spatial sound.

3.HDMI sound control and graphics card driver also has a relationship, if you are using the nvdia graphics card driver, you can re-download the NVDIA graphics card driver - install the sound card driver module.

    Good luck.

I hope the above information helps.

    Best Wish
