how to prevent the settings process in windows 11 from running in the background

I always disable all permissions except camera and microphone. and yet this garbage process keeps running.

If the intention is to execute this process so that the configurations open more quickly, it seems totally unnecessary to me.

I prefer to wait a few more seconds for the settings to open, than to have to endure having this process in the background.

I even hate that runtymebroker is running all the time. That's why I miss Windows 7.

I understand what you are saying, but in Windows 10 it was not a priority that the sistembroker.exe or sistemsettings.exe process had to run in the background.

Although it consumes almost no resources, it is annoying to know that there are more processes than before.

it is completely unnecessary for the setup process to run.

Click on start and type "Settings"
Right click on Settings -> App Settings..
set "Background Component Permissions" to "Never"..

I needed to do this since if this is run on bg, there is a delay when using keyboard shortcuts to run commands..

For some reason windows 11 makes it harder or impossible at times to do things if you're a power user.
(Taskbar icons always show | background apps settings | default apps | right click | and so on....
I really hope this will change soon and they realize that taking away options is a really bad decision when building an OS..
