How do I make sure Numlock is on at startup?

My numlock key is defaulting to off. Is there any way to change that?

    I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

    On some devices, it can be set on the BIOS setup, when you start the computer, press F2 or Del repeatedly to enter the BIOS menu and look for the the Num Lock option (usually under the "Miscellaneous" menu).

    I also tried turning off the onboard audio. This had the effect of increasing the audio fidelity of my Soundblaster Rx soundcard! I dimly remember being told this effect happens only with the soundblaster brand! I have done it before with other brand sound cards and it didn't make a difference.

    I think it has to do with the actual bit depth that the card is pulling from the bus. I don't know that anything ever really runs in 16 or 24 bit mode. They have changed the settings on PowerDVD to allow higher fidelity. I'm wondering what will happen with future Intel releases.
