Google Chrome shows a blank screen

I shut down Google Chrome and when I opened it again, there was a blank screen. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. No luck there. (This occurred at a time when I had agreed to install Windows 11 on my computer, which installation failed several times. -- Coincidence?) Now I believe that the Windows 11 installer has given up and it sends me no more messages about restarting my computer. That's fine with me, I'm ready to stick with windows 10, but would like to have Google Chrome back.

I am using Firefox now. It might be worth noting that Bing does not work either, but I don't know when that started, since I don't use it anyway.

    Hi, Elizabeth,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

Factory resetting Google Chrome by renaming the Chrome folder in the local AppData folder should fix this problem.

Step 1: Close the Google Chrome
1-Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager
2-Search for Google Chrome in the list, right-click on that and click on "End task"

Step 2: Rename the Chrome folder.
1-Right-click on Start then click on Run
2-Type: %localappdata%\Google and click on Ok
3-Right-click on the "Chrome" folder and click on rename
4-Enter a new name for the folder like "ChromeOld" or "Chrome0" and press enter to save the change
5-Relaunch Google Chrome and check if the problem was fixed

Alert: This procedure will remove all Edge data and settings, when you launch Google Chrome after this procedure will be like when you opened Google Chrome for the first time.

I hope this information helps. If you have any questions, please let me know and I'll be glad to assist you further.

I also encountered the problem of a white screen in Google Chrome without any buttons, but I found a temporary solution. Just rename chrome.exe and it will start. But next time I restore it, I have to rename it again. I think this is a problem with the Windows system. I have several Windows server 2022 servers started using the aws image, but only two servers have this problem because the other one is cloned and both are in-place from Windows server 2016. Upgrade to Windows server 2022

It should be from the hardware acceleration in the settings. Please, watch this video if it helps you. https://youtu.be/5hk8pwXMoOE?si=6VCNW1\_TX2kDpUxK
