I have multiple screens and my mouse won't move easily between screens 2 and 3.

I just received a replacement company laptop, my old one was having hard drive issues. I use the laptop monitor + 2 additional monitors. I have the display configurations on my new new laptop set as they were on the old one, but the mouse cursor won't move easily between screens 2 and 3. If I try to move from one monitor to the other the cursor stops at the point where the monitors intersect. But if I back up and move the mouse with a lot of force the cursor breaks through the invisible barrier and moves to the other monitor. It's difficult to use all of my screens, and it's nearly impossible to drag a window from one screen to the other. The cursor moved seamlessly between monitors with my old laptop. HELP!!!

    Hi Everyone,

I found the same problem with a three monitor display. When you go to the 'Rearrange your displays' setting (Setting-System-Display) you see an representation of the displays lined up beside each other. You can actually drag these images vertically. My center display is quite large relative to the other two. If I line up the bottom edges of all of the displays, I can easily move the mouse from one display to the other as long as I am not trying to move to or from the higher part of the large display. It takes the relative sizes as actual. What a difference!

Hi there! I hope you are well. My name is, Zadee. I'll try my best to help you today.

Please make sure the arrangement of the screen in the display settings is in the right order. For example, if you have your laptop screen (main screen) on the left and 2nd monitor to the right physically, the arrangement should also be 1st > 2nd screen in the display setting.

OMG this was driving me bananas! David u just saved my life... I only have 2 monitors but still the same issue

I had them set up in the right order but it was still sticking & I just thought the display arrangement was showing me that the other monitor was smaller... not realizing it was literally taking into account the height where they were placed next to each other (insert facepalm)

Until you said this I didnt even realize it was always the top where it was sticking & ur right, gamechanger!

    Thank you, thank you!

I also found it very helpful to change to change the color of the mouse pointer to black so I can really easily see where it is.
