Hi, I need helps!

My PC is a window 10 PC and base on device manager, my PC has 2 display adapter:

  1. Intel UHD 770 ( As I remember )
  2. NVIDIA RTX 2080 Super

While try to get more FPS on gaming performance, I go to search box -> Device Manager then I go to the display adapter section hit the drop down button and left-click on the Intel UHD 770 then accidentally click disable. After that, my monitor imidiately turn in to a black screen and I can't do anything.

I tried to turn off and back on the monitor but do not work. Ctrl + Window key + Shift + B also do not work. I tried to click F12 several times but also not working. Then I press and Hold the power button on PC to shut it down and turn it back on but the monitor still do not show anything. I'm very nervous right now because it just stay black and do not show anything so I can't enable it back on or reinstall it. Is there any solution I can do, I afraid I broke my PC. What should I do? Please answer as fast as possible!!

P/S: I find out that when I turn on my PC and log in to it then discord will automatic open, I try to click somewhere with my mouse on the black screen and type some random letters on my keyboard then click enter to send it, then check my phone I see that that text have been send to my friend so that the computer still work normally only the display have problem or just says monitor stay black even I turn it on.

Thank You!!

    SOLVED! LAPTOP OR COMPUTER.

Easiest way to fix this if you are either on computer or laptop is turn on windows narrator, and to do that you have to use CTRL + Windows + Enter, after the narrator is enabled you have to open device manager by using Windows + X, then M. Click TAB on the keyboard and you should be able to hear the options after you did those steps use your arrow keys to go down while listening to the right options when you reach Display Adapter, Use the right arrow to expand the opens then go to the correct adapter, after you have found it use ALT + Enter to open its properties, Click TAB again until you hear a word similar to general tab item or just general and tap right arrow until you reach Drivers, Then keep tapping TAB until you hear enable device and your problem should be solved.

    Hi Khoi

I am Bill, an Independent Advisor. I am here to help.

Since you are having a black screen, please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

    1. Boot your PC to safe mode by repeatedly pressing F8 key during start up.
    2. From there, go to Device manager and select show hidden or disabled devices 3. Enable the display adapter again

    I hope this helps!

    Hi!

As I said it only stay remain black even anything I do. When I disable that UHD 770 by accident it just turn black. I mean the monitor can still turn on I think is just about the display adapter or graphic card.

I follow the instruction in photo below:

But the screen not even show anything just black. Or I can says it's blank screen like the monitor image below:

I also afraid that the UHD 770 is the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter so I can't see anything show on monitor without it. And if it is a Microsoft Basic Display Adapter what should I do or just come to a computer fix store near by?
