So the about the problem: i already searched thru internet and didn't find anything to help me with it.

Problem:

Downloaded a fresh LGHub installer from their website, and when i tried to install it it said i have "less than 500MB available on D drive"

even when i have not only 500mb but 619GB of free space on the D drive.

I tried eraseing all of logitech stuff i had from before, i cleaned start up in task manager,

i contacted Logitech support (didn't help anything they told me to do the same as i already did)

Hello and welcome to the Microsoft Community

According to your description, your computer's hard disk has a lot of space, but the download space shows insufficient space

You can do a self-test on your computer's hard disk.

    The method is as follows:

Right click on your D drive > Properties > click on Tools at the top > click on Check for Errors.

Be sure to check: automatically repair file system errors and scan and try to recover bad sectors of the two → and then click Start!

In addition, you can also check if you have virtual memory turned on.

    Check the method:

    1. Right-click on the computer - click on Properties.
    2. Click on Advanced System Settings
    3. Click on Advanced and then Settings under the Performance tab.
    4. Click on the Advanced tab
    5. Click Change under Virtual Memory
    6. Uncheck Automatically manage paging size for all drives.
    7. Click OK

    This turns off virtual memory

I hope you find the above information helpful and feel free to contact me if you have any questions

Are you trying to force your Logitech software to install in D:\ ?

I don't know if it still applies, but Logitech software would only install in C:\ a few years ago. I believe updates also only look in C:\ .

If this is still true and your Windows is installed in D:\ , installing your Logitech software into C:\ should still work.

    Hello Mat P.,

How's it going? If there's anything else I can do for you or something's unclear, don't hesitate to let me know.

You may also try the steps below:

    1. Enable the UTF-8 compatibility settings: "Win" logo key + "Q", open the search box, type "Control", enter to open "Control Panel" (View by category) > "Clock and Region" > "Change date, time, or number formats" under "Region" > "Administrative" tab > Change system locale...", select the region corresponding to your system in "Current system locale", then check "Beta: use Unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support", then All "OK" to save the settings, restart the system.
    2. Modify the "Program Files"path You can navigate to the following path in the Windows registry (Open the Registry Editor by pressing WIN + R and typing "regedit".) and then modify the Value of ProgramFilesDir as shown below, paying attention to case.
       HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

Disclaimer*: Generally, modifying registry subkeys or workgroups is intended for advanced users, administrators, and IT Professionals. It can help fix some problems,* h owever, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For further protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click How to back up and restore the registry in Windows (microsoft.com) to view the article.
