    Hello,

There are several possible reasons why your keyboard is inputting random letters when you press certain letters. One of them is that your keyboard layout may be set to a different language or region than the one you are using. To check this, go to your settings and look for the keyboard or input method option. Make sure it matches your preferred language and region. Another possible reason is that your keyboard may have some dirt or dust under the keys, which can interfere with the signals sent to your computer.

To fix this, you can try cleaning your keyboard with a soft cloth or a compressed air can. You can also remove the keycaps and clean the switches underneath, but be careful not to damage them. A third possible reason is that your keyboard may have some faulty or damaged wiring or circuitry, which can cause some keys to malfunction or send wrong signals. This may explain why your number keys are working fine, but not the letter keys. To fix this, you may need to replace your keyboard or have it repaired by a professional.

If none of these solutions work, you may have a software issue or a virus that is affecting your keyboard input. You can try scanning your computer for malware, updating your drivers, or restoring your system to a previous point. If you still have problems, you may need to contact your computer manufacturer or a tech support service for further assistance.

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! I'm Microsoft user like you.

Did you install any additional language in your computer ?

Did you install any Keyboard customization utility For example PowerToys or any other app ?

Are you able to see any other Keyboard layout or Input language near Date and time in Task bar lower right corner ?

In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try our best to resolve your issue.

    Best Regards,

    Prakash

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply and providing Information.

Does this happen in all your Applications and while performing some operations in applications ?

Please perform clean boot of your Computer and see if it resolve your issue.

In the Search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the list of results.

On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all. Select Apply.

On the Startup tab in Task Manager, for each Enabled startup item, select the item and then select Disable. (Keep track of which items have been Disabled. You will need to know this later.)

I did all of that but nothing changed but I accidentally spilled some water on my keyboard maybe 2 months ago and I dried them all off and worked just fine. Maybe that did it? But why does it took 2 months to get faulty?
