Microphone input to speaker output

Hi,

I have a Logitech Pro X Gaming Headset with the USB External sound card. I also have two subwoofer speakers with the green audio wire. I am able to switch between the two without any issues, (connecting to the sound card and the audio port on the system).

However when I connect the speakers to the USB External sound card, there is no audio output from the microphone which is connected to the default microphone port on the system. This works in the opposite way nonthelesss.

Is there a way to resolve this?

Thanks.

    Hi,

I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.

The audio from the microphone outputs in the speaker when it is connected to the green aux port on the computer right?

Open Settings > System > Sound > More sound settings > Recording tab > Double click the computer audio device (usually Realtek) > Listen tab.

Do you have the "Listen to this device" option enabled?

If not, go to the Playback tab > double-click the computer audio device > Levels.|

Do you see a "Microphone" slider?

    Hi Rodrigo,

I have connected the audio wire to the USB External sound card (displayed as Logitech PRO X Gaming Headset).

The microphone is connected to the microphone port on the computer.

I have also experimented with the "Listen to this device" option and it doesn't seem to work.

Connect the audio wire on the computer port (instead of the USB device), does the option I sent you above when you double-click the audio device?

But did you check on the Speakers - High Definition Audio Device properties after connecting the cable to the audio port on the computer?

    Hi,

There is no option for Microphone on the Levels tab in the properties.
