I have a USB camera and its driver installation files.
I also have 4 laptops, all running Windows 10, all 64-based systems, but only on 2 of these laptops is the camera usable.
The cameras are from some Chinese manufacturer, and driver files do not seem to be abundantly present on the web...
The installation process and source of the driver files was identical in all cases. All 4 laptops also contain the same relevant driver files in the relevant locations.
The following link is a screenshot of the device manager on a working laptop. It shows which driver files the camera uses:

[I would've loved to upload these pictures here directly, but I am getting non-descriptive errors for any image I try...]
These driver files are present on all 4 laptops. I have copied files from working laptops to directories on non-working ones, no luck. I have several identical cameras: switching cameras and cables and USB ports changes nothing.
Interestingly, the cameras are called "CGImagetech CGUS2 - 130M" in the device managers of the non-working laptops, while being called "CGImagetech CGUS2 - 130" on laptops on which they work. Although this may actually resolve once the cameras on non-working laptops start working properly.
I am starting to think it is some security settings issue that is preventing the drivers from being used.
If I try to "Update Drivers" in the device manager of non-working laptops, I get the error message "Driver is not intended for this platform".
What are some settings or locations I can check on all 4 laptops to see what the possible difference may be between systems?
