Hello I have Toshiba protégé r30 laptop which has problem on its color display all red became dark, green became faded yellow, and blue became somewhat brighter. This issue started when my pc fell and the screen detached, and after I plug it, the color doesn't look right on boot. Like the white colored words had blue feel to them by the way despite the color the screen doesn't have any issue and the whole area works. So my question is should I replace the screen or is there anything I can do?

Hi Qiru. My name is Lester, and I am an Independent Advisor. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this issue. I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Is the color issue happening in the BIOS and sign-in page? If you have another monitor, I suggest you try it. Does the issue remain? Thank you.

Thank you for the reply. Try these:

Click on the Start menu, type "Control Panel" and open it.

Set the view to "Small icons" and then select "Color Management."

Go to the Advanced tab and choose "Change system defaults."

Go to the Advanced tab and consider the following options:

Uncheck the "Use Windows display calibration" checkbox.

Close everything then restart your PC then check

If the issue persists, I recommend reaching out to your PC manufacturer's support for a hardware check or visit your local technician.

    1. The issue is present on both the sign-in page and in Windows.
    2. The problem does not persist when connecting to another monitor.

These observations indicate a likely hardware problem, possibly caused by the incident where your PC fell. Thank you.

The issue is not only on signup but entire windows and once I tried connecting my laptop with TV using HDMI cable and there was no color problem on the TV's side. Everything on my laptop screen was projected on the TV except for the color change
